How much does it cost for recut in BGD?

I read 350 per carat and 350 minimum...so 350 for a half carat. but I'm sure if you call BGD they will tell you! What are you planning on having recut?

Ditto- I remember hearing 350 I'm sure they have a minimum cost as otherwise it wouldnt be worth the risk for them to do it.

Minmin never buy a diamond on the principle you will recut it, unless you are simply talking about a girdle polish, and even that has risks! Unless the cost is so low you won't be upset if a) the diamond is damaged or b) the stone cannot be recut like you want.

It is $350 per carat, I had posted asking about this before. My diamond is actually at BGD waiting to be recut! It is only .90 carats and it is costing $350, plus shipping costs and the resetting fee once it is recut is $75. I haven't decided if I am going to get a new setting or just put it back into the old one (a vintage platinum fishtail type setting.) The projected weight is .80 carats with VERY minimal diameter loss as the stone was very deep to begin with.
