How much data do you use on your smartphone?

Alright, I've been scouring the internet to try and find some real answers besides what AT&T says(that most of their customers use less than 300mb.) But it's so difficult to find clear numbers!

I assume that most of you with Iphones have the unlimited plans, but I'm still curious about how much you use. I'm getting my first smartphone and I'm just not sure which data plan would be best. Also, it does have to be with AT&T because there are no other nationwide carriers up here, and I hate the local providers. Although, I could get unlimited data up here, but the phone variety is far more limited then.

my plan has 500mb and I use it I would say "frequently". I don't stream or watch podcasts or anything like that... I downloaded something I got in email once and there was a bump in usage, but I've never gone over.

At least not that I know of lol (It's all in chinese lol)

I'm on the 200 mb plan. Honestly, if I were really using my iPhone it wouldn't be enough, like if I was using it as a primary internet source. But with normal use (supplemented by not really using it at home), I've always been at about 200 mb (sometimes a little over, sometimes a little under) over the last two years. But I don't think I'm a heavy iPhone user normally (for data). And I've had the unlimited plan until I switched over last month to 200 mb.

I am on my Iphone most of the time. I use it constantly for about 3 hours a day when travelling to and from work and then every now and then through the day as well. I use it to check emails (personal and work), facebook, look at pricescope, account balances, maps to find my way and various different apps that require being connected to the net.

I have an app that tracks my usage for the month and i am currently about 65% through my month and i have used 9% of my data quota, a big fat whopping 88.62MB. My quota is a gig a month and i never come close, but i don't watch any live streaming or videos but i do download large emails and attachments.

ooh i just found some more fun facts. I am on day 20 out of 31 and i am using an average 4.43MB a day which is nothing really.

I grandfathered in on the unlimited data plan on the iphone before they started offering limited plans. However, I don't exceed 500 mb per month of data. I usually use more than 200, and sometimes, 300.

I must not use my phone internet much! I'm with Verizon and i have the 25mb/month plan. I use it probably 5 days out of the week to get on facebook or here. I've never used more then 18mb.

bahaha - my first smartphone was this one back in 2000 lol It had FOUR shades! After that 3 treos and an iphone. CAN NOT live without one now.

by four shades I mean on the screen - green, darker green, yet darker green, and black. But you could have pictures on your phone!!! haha sounds so passe now!
