You always ask the most random questions DancingFire, and you never answer them yourself. How come?

DF is a webBot programmed by the IRS.
They are looking to profile people who might have a spare dime they can take in an audit.

I think of DancingFire as that clueless neighbor who asks personal questions all the time. You know, every neighborhood or club has one

I pay...

ZERO

NADA

ZILCH!

Luckily my FI Woeks as a sales specialist for the 3mobile network (UK) so I have his staff tarriff! Free calls, texts, unlimited downloads etc. I love it!

On a good month $230. On average $270.

On my bill is myself, my mother, and my two brothers. Included in that cost are 2100 minutes, $30 for unlimited text/picture messaging, internet for me, and insurance for all 4 phones (my mother has dropped her phone in the toilet and washing machine at least 3 times in the past two years and my brothers are...well, teenagers
20.gif
)

And the biggest reason why its so high is that Verizon has very high taxes. They charge me a Pembroke Pines tax for all 4 lines because that''s where I live as well as an Orlando tax for the three other phones because that''s where the phone calls from. I know...I know, I''ve tried arguing it.

~$60

It should be $160....but my husband works for BoA and they recieve a 25% discount which is directly in line with how many other employees use Sprint. We used to pay an additional fee monthly for blackberry service, but recently upgraded phones.

We have 4 phones--each of us has 2 (one personal/one business). We are on the Sprint Everything plan...1500 minutes, unlimited nights & weekends, unlimited texts, unlimited data.

We have insurance on all the phones at around 7.00 per phone/per month.

So monthly, if I''m chatting...we can go as high as 190.00 after the discount...or sometimes we stay well within our plan...it just depends.

$70.22/month (T-mobile)

ETA: DH & I have no landline at home

$60 for myself, dh is $120

About $110 per month for DH and myself. We both have Palm Centro phones, so we have the data plan, which is why it''s so high.

Ours is about $70-80/mo and includes phones for both my DH and myself. We have a smallish plan (I think like 500 daytime minutes) because we don't use them a lot except to talk to each other.

We pay $80 - 90 for both me and my husband.

Zoe - we all wonder this. . . I''m pretty sure DF has never explained the point to these questions. I imagine he spends all day thinking up questions to ask us. . . hmmm. "Are you more of a Target or Walmart shopper and why?" We''ll never know which DF is.

Our bill is about $120 for me, hubby, and sister in law. SIL and myself both have data/texting/etc plans.

39.99/month, but the bill is usually around 46-47 with extra fees attached and I pay 10c a text. I get 450 daytime minutes, 1000 nights/weekends, rollover, and no roaming fees.

Are you shopping around for a cell phone package DF?

I pay $47/mo (including taxes) through Verizon (450 anytime minutes, free calls after 9pm during the week, and free weekends). I do not have a text messaging package, which I think would be an extra $5/mo for that. I did sign a 2-yr contract, but I am 1 only have one year to go. What's nice is that many of my friends + family use Verizon, so I get free "In" calling quite often. I might drop my package down to 350 mintues, which will lower my bill, the bad thing is, I will not be eligible for "In" calling - but I find myself using my phone more frequently during evenings and weekends anyway.

Considering what we pay, that''s pretty good. That''s about $32.50 per line which you won''t find now-a-days.

My FI pays $45 for his Metro PCS that only works in one area. I was considering switching but every time we drive 2 hours away from home, the service cuts off.

cuz all Walmarts in our area are located in the not so safe part of town.

average ~$7 per month. I have a prepaid cell phone. The Phone itself costs ~10 (virgin mobile). It has everything I needed from a phone. I buy the $20 phone card that lasts for about 3 months.

edit: it costs 20 cents per min.

I still have an old family plan with AT&T (before they became cingular then the new AT&T) and it''s the best deal ever! We get 4 phones for around $65! Only downside is that we can''t get a new phones from AT&T without signing up for a new plan.

Yup, I believe we are on the same plan!! I''m with Cingular (now ATT).

$42 and change, I have 400 anytime minutes, nights at 7, and 100 text messages through Sprint.

400 is way more minutes than I ever use!

We pay $117 with T-mobile. This is for 3 phones. 1000 anytime minutes. Free nights and weekends, unlimited text messages and free t-mobile to t-mobile. Two of the phones are also hot spot at home, which uses our wifi connection while we are at home (really nice because we are rural and couldn''t use our cells on our previous providers phones in the house, the signal just wasn''t strong enough). Hotspot minutes are unlimited too, 24/7. We are really pleased with it and have (so far) never gone over our plan minutes. The hotspot at home is fabulous!
