We don't own any new cars (2001-2007) and the avg we paid for each car is $811 per yr.... ;(

We have a 2010 car and a 2013 small pickup. Our annual charge is a little over $1000.

Renewal is next month. DH has 2 small tickets and I had a small accident. I will be curious to see how much our fees change.

$372/year. Two cars--1998 and 2002.

2004 Pontiac GTO - $504 per year
2009 Dodge Ram 3500 - $664 per year
2013 Honda Civic - $680 per year

Total: $1,848 through USAA, $500 deductible. I should add that we are in SoCal so it's MUCH higher than I'm used to!

I know, me either :( :( My old car was a 2002 Civic and it was only $290 a YEAR! The new car really bumps up the price :(

We pay ~1750 for our two cars, mine is a 2011 hers is a 2008

apx $800/year for 2002 truck and 2003 car - also SoCal...

Timely thread, I just switched last week. I'm now going to be paying $220 a month for three cars, a condo owners/landlord policy, and a renter's policy. I was paying about $50 more a month.

$1,300/year for one car with a $500 deductible -- 2013 Mazda CX5 (with good record, only one claim ever made (the old car got hit in a parking lot while we were shopping a few years ago), no citations)
We do have fairly high coverage so could cut this a bit if we wanted, but I like the extra protection.

This also covers towing to get repairs (even if not accident related), rental car during repair, etc.

Funny you should mention, after getting the notice that our homeowner's insurance was going up substantially for the 5th year in a row, we switched home and auto policy for 2 cars and will be saving $1100/year, with slightly better coverage.

Just added it up, give or take $1200 a year no accidents or tickets we have:

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, full coverage $1000 ded
2005 Chevy Silverado, full coverage $1000 ded
1986 Chevy Camaro, liability only

The Camaro is our 16 year old son's it will go A BUNCH after he gets his license, I think they quoted us around $1000-$1200 a year for liability only once he is licensed and this is with a multi-line, multi-car and good student discount

$1584 for two older vehicles with $500 deductible and all the basics like rental car if needed, etc.

We're going to be getting another car (and will keep the two we have, which was a bit of an unexpected decision, but we'll save money with commuting costs...it'll be scary to see what our insurance is, though, but we'll still save, overall!).

We pay just over 1k/ year for a 2011 Honda Pilot and a 2011 Volvo XC60.No tickets or accidents.

sounds about right. We paid $2400 each for our daughter's full coverage of their Civics when they first started driving.

We have teen drivers, we pay $1500 for six months so $3,000 for a year. YIKES!

Used to be $430 x2 a year for a 06 F-150 and a 2010 Hyundai accent.

Now it's like..530x2 after they realized that I'm a newish driver (stateside)

they bumped it to.almost 900x2 but I called raising hell because I'm not a teenage boy, I've driven in a different country, and blah blah.
they lowered it to 530 and I'm okay with that.
