How many % of the money did you spent on the setting vs the center stone?

Yep - I bet that’s the main culprit.

3.6%. This is an interesting question - and one I struggle with. I want a new setting, but they can be so expensive, especially when you look at it as a percentage of the cost of the stone.

The setting is whatever it cost. Our custom Plat setting with simple channel set diamonds was 2495 from WF. We never thought of a percentage, just accepted the bill for what it was.

Ditto with the stone. We paid what WF wanted for the stone I chose. We’ll just say the setting was under 10 percent.
