I'm only on high blood pressure pills for now although I should be taking high cholesterol pills too.

Three….plus heart support supplements.

I take Zyrtec for my allergies, 5mg before bed just to keep them at bay.

From 2 years ago...

Thyroid meds and BHRT.
Albuterol as needed.
LDN.

Honestly, too many.

No new medications for me in the past 2 yrs other than my Dr. raised the MGs on my high blood pressure pills.

zyrtek and sometimes advil for the arthritis in my thumb.

Zero

HRT  That’s all.

A few years ago would have been a completely different story.

A variety of multi vitamins etc.

Prescription wise, just Tranexamic Acid to control my bleeding disorder.

It would be interesting to see age correlated with number of medications...my guess is the older the individual the greater the chance of being on more meds.

I take meds for high blood pressure, heart tablets, I should be taking meds for high colesterol but can't tolerate them. I take under active thyroid tabs & citalopram plus amitriptalin for nerve pain plus co-codamol & morphine for severe bone & joint pain. My health is crap:roll2:

I guess I should have said what meds I’m taking..I take Lisinopril and atenolol for blood pressure. Atenolol was just added this year because my blood pressure would spike during stress. I also take Levothyroxin..generic Synthroid. My thyroid levels haven’t been normal for years. I asked my doctor if I could just skip one pill a week to see if it would help. Bingo! I’m in the normal range now!

Just 2 for to control my Type 2 Diabetes.

DK :))

Zero & am trying to take care of my body now to keep it that way.

You are a walking drug store. :silenced:

1 prescription only daily. I have to carry an epipen due to a ridiculous number of allergies. Never used it on myself, but I've used it twice on others (who KNEW they had life threatening allergies and admitted they never carry one!).

Two.

3, occasionally 4 depending on flare-ups

one of my daily meds i have taken since i was 12 and they will all be long-term meds

Zero
But I do take a variety of supplements

Lisinopril, Atorvastatin and zoloft.

One (anti depressant). Plus several vitamins/supplements

Nine...i'm a medical miracle...so many pills I rattle when I walk...

I say thank goodness we have medications to help us. If we were living in a different time we might not have some of these life saving meds. It doesn't matter how many meds one is on as much as it matters do these meds bring a good treatment for what you need and make life better.

@Mayk you probably already know this but just in case....discontinue Biotin for at least 3 days (better to d/c it for a week) before blood testing. It can affect some of the results.
