Signed pieces is almost done with my setting. Then my setting will be shipped to WF for the diamond. Does anyone know how long it will take for me to get the completed ring back?

Do you think it would be faster to have WF ship the diamond and SP to ship the setting tp my home and just go to a local jeweler?

The setting is thin and I don''t want to take any chances but I would like the ring to arrive quickly.

Anybody know how long the average wait time is to have your diamond set in a provided setting at WF?

Sorry if I have brought this up before, just really excited and curious!

Is there a reason you are not having WF send the stone to SP since they are making you setting? - that way they can make the whole thing.

Hmm. I didn''t think about that option. I just assumed that WF might be better at setting diamonds?

Something to think about

Which do you want? Faster, or better? You said would it be faster to have a local jeweler do it. Then the above post. WF sells probably hundreds of diamonds a week. Who would you trust to set it? Them or the guy who has maybe 20 a week done? Just my .02

Probably depends on how busy they are, midgirl! You could always email them to get an estimated time on the setting of your diamond and when it should ship to you. It''s hard to wait, I bet!

I don''t know who I would trust that is why I am asking!

I would go with either Signed Pieces or Whiteflash to set it, I''m sure both would do a better job than your local jeweler, and would probably charge less too, because you bought something from them. I would just e-mail both and ask who can do it faster.

Since I am having my ring sized right now and talked to someone at WF today, I would say that once they got the setting, it would take no longer than a week. I think that the setting of the diamond itself is not the issue timewiese, but they must get to your particular project.

Of course, calling would be the best way to find out.

thanks
