Wedding How long to get pictures back?

I am concerned for my friend, it''s been 4 weeks and a wedding before hers is already up!! They said 3 weeks and now it''s past 4, so I told her to complain.

Well, before I''d "complain", I''d take the time to find out what is really going on, especially if she hasn''t followed up with them yet. Wedding photographers usually have to edit/correct the photos before one sees them and depending on their shooting schedule, 4 weeks is pretty normal for a wait time.

I think 4 weeks is a reasonable time, our photogs quoted us about 6 weeks, and it was 5.

However, since they told her 3, I see no problem with her following up with them to find out status, and a revised eta.
