We have been married 50 years (51 in April). I have never seen or wanted anyone else, but a weekend with Matthew McConahy (sp?) would be fabulous! He has a lovely wife now after waiting for two children and one on the way when he married.

Well this month going on 18 years! Plus we were together for 5 years before we got hitched.
Actually kind of funny, hubby actually brought up that our anniversary coming up, and how it was a big one, and how we should do something special and I stopped him and said, well kind of a big one. And he said, it's our 20th, isn't it? And I said no, 18th. So he was a little disappointed. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything! His idea is that for every anniversary, we buy a piece of art. We have already bought and had framed 2 japanese woodblock prints (we love hiroshige and Hokusai and more modern ones as well) and started looking. We don't buy original prints but usually reprints to keep it reasonable. It has been nice to have those beautiful images swimming in my mind before I go to sleep, hard to choose.
