Thanks Missy. We were at the Campidoglio in Rome. He's wearing an Armani tux with Nike tennis shoes. He claimed he forgot his dress shoes. He just didn't want his feet to hurt when the photog dragged us all over Rome taking pictures I wish I would have been as forgetful -- my feet swelled into my shoes after 10 minutes standing on those ancient Roman pavers.

Such a beautiful and romantic setting. Just gorgeous.

Haha tennis shoes, that's the way to go LOL. I insisted on wearing comfortable flats during our wedding despite it not looking as glamorous as heels (and getting lots of flak from my hairdresser -long story lol) and it allowed me to enjoy dancing the night away. With my feet remaining A-OK.

Yay to all the happy couples who have been together for many years.
We haven't been together nearly as long as some but well as some of you have pointed out time is going so fast it will be no time till we be there (knock wood) in no time.

We have been together 18 years and seriously each one better than the last. I don't think there is only just one partner meant for each person usually but in my case no way would I have ever met someone more perfect for me than my dh. He is my soul mate and no one else would have come close. I never wanted to get married till I met and spent time with my dh. We dated for 5 years before getting married because that is how reluctant I was to make a marriage commitment. Looking back I laugh about it because hands down it is the best decision I ever made in my life. No question. But hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it?

Would love to see photos of the happy couples if you are willing to share...

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, Captain Redbeard and I have been together 22 months and have been married 8 months.
We just spent our 8 month-iversary in Banff for 9 days, and are planning our 1 year anniversary trip now. Seeing the world together has been amazing.

We met 25 months ago, decided we'd eventually get married on date #2. We've been married 4 months and 1 week. My husband is as loving and selfless as they come. He has been working 7 days a week lately as he is a tax accountant and it's that time of year. On Sunday morning I was waking up for a 12 hour shift and he got up early to bring me breakfast and coffee in bed before my shift. Then he went and worked 13 hours.

My fiancé and I met in August 2012, so it was a little over 4 1/2 years ago that we had our first date, but we weren't an official couple until that October, 52 months ago.

We will be married on August 5, 2017.

February 6 was the 17th anniversary of our first date. We've been inseparable ever since.
Married on March 8, so in 1 week it will be 9 years married. I'm currently planning our 10-year anniversary bash/getaway in Hawaii for 2018.
High school sweethearts. We've been together more than half of our lives now - yikes!

We have been married for almost 37 years and together a year or so longer than that. We actually went to the same high school and graduated the same year. I knew who he was and he I but I don't think we ever spoke to each other or shared a class. Our class was small. 77 students total. We were married in 1980, graduated in 77.
