How long did your custom ring take to have made?

I was just told by a vendor that it would take about 3 weeks after I saw the wax model. Is that average?

it really depends. on the ring design, the vendor, their workload at the time...

2-3 weeks to me is about average but some people take longer and some seem to move faster. it just depends.

The one I am having made is to be about 2-3 weeks... from what I have read that is average.

i think 3 weeks sounds good. ours was quoted 4-5 wks starting from the cads. most jewelers usually have several jobs to balance i think. just make sure they actually start in the first week though, and don''t end up rushing the job in the last few days!

I''ve had two custom rings made by two different jewelers. Both projects were completed in just under 4 weeks.

I am currently in the process of having a custom ring made that I designed, the wax model should be ready tomorrow or Tuesday, if all looks good they think they will have the ring done by June 6th including the holiday etc. I think it depends on where your having it made. Mine is being made in the city where the actual work is being done, it''s not being shipped from place to place etc., so I''m sure that makes it go a bit quicker.

My BF & I are waiting for our finished products (which will hopefully be done tomorrow!)

But for the wax it took about 10 days, and it''s been about 2 weeks now that we''ve been waiting for the finished product (we were originally told it would probably be done by Saturday ... which was yesterday)
