how easy is it to see H&A

JA just shipped my the diamond e-ring I''ll hopefully be presenting to the new wifie to be.

Anyhow, I have a hard time seeing the H&A pattern, even though it''s claimed to be one.

Is this normal?
The stone is .501carats.

HCA score of .5
AGS 0, VS1, E

looks nice and sparkly, just wondering if I should be able to see the arrows most of the time. I have to look quite hard to pick them up.

Yes, it is normal to not be able to see the arrows most of the time. It is easier in larger stones and also when the light is obstructed by your head (or dim back lighting).

I have a 0.7ct and can see the arrows some of the time, but do have to look pretty closely. You won''t be able to see the hearts now that the diamond is mounted, but perhaps if you''re interested you can ask JA for a H&A viewer so you can check out the arrows. GOG sent me one and a loupe with my purchase without me even asking, which I thought was cool.
Really, the H&A pattern will show itself in making the stone more brlliant and sparkley

I just wanted to add that you will see an arrow here and there as it lights up when you tilt the stone back and forth in the right lighting condition. It is easier to see some arrows but to see all the arrows at once is difficult unless you peer closely and have the lights set just so. However, if you want to see them clearly, then the H&A viewer makes it a cinche.

thanks everyone! With the box it said I should receive and complementary H&A viewer but never did. I''ll contact them.

It seems like it probably is H&A, only once did I see quite a few arrows.
