please i am looking to buy this amazing diamond and the polish is -good- how does polish affect a diamond.... the diamond is excellent in everything else..GIA cert

2.02 carats
E color
SI 2
cut excellent
depth 60.3 %
table 59 %
crown 33 degrees
pavillion 41 degrees
florescence none
cutlet none
polish very good
symmetry excellent
8.15 - 8.19 * 4.93 mm

Polish looks like VG, not G...in any event, it won''t be noticed by the unaided eye.

ok well on the paper cert it says good but on the website of gia it says very good what do i do will it really make a difference if it is good or very good????

A cut grade of GIA EX requires VG or EX polish. It''s strange that the website and printed report don''t match. You''re checking here I presume. Do you have a copy of the printed report to post?

yes that is where i am checking but i do not have a copy of the report it is at the store ...also the table is 59% is that a very bad thing ? sorry i have so many questions.....

Not bad at all in this combo, especially if the lower halves are around 80%. That info should be available at report check.
My eyebrow is still raised about the discrepancy between the paper and GIA''s records.

COOL!! : ) THE LOVER HALF IS EXACTLY 80% you were right!!!! thats awesome im excited.... im definately getting this diamond thank you soooooooooooooo much i will post the pics when i get it

LOL. Truth be told, GIA rounds that measurement so as long as the average was between 77.5 and 82.4 it was a pretty good bet,

and those numbers suit this stone best. Glad to help - and glad you're excited.
