How do you think these rings would look?

Hello! :wavey: I would like your opinion please! How do you think a ring similar to CharmyPoo's wedding band:

would look with a plain solitaire like this plain Leon Mege?

I am unsure if because of the shape of the wedding band and that the ering has no pave it may not look the best. Stone will be a 1 carat or so cushion. Let me know your thoughts or suggestions! :))

Unique and totally stunning!

I think the combo will be really pretty too. I am not familiar with the LM setting but I would think there would be a gap in between the band and ring. If that is what you're going for, it'll definitely be a different look!

Thanks for your replies!!
I originally wanted them to sit flush but I love the look of a v shaped band so much that's not really an option. I feel that it may be too much though with a gap and non matching. Is pave uncomfortable? Anyone elses thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Pave is definitely not uncomfortable! My ering has micropave down the shank and I barely feel it. I think larger diamond bands would be more uncomfortable since they sit higher up and the prongs are more prominent.

I think it will look great!!!

match made in heaven is what I'd say!

I think you would need a custom curved band to go with that ring. I had a curved band similar to that and it did not fit up against my ring like I thought it would. I hated it as well because it did spin and did not stay lined up with the ering. I ended up selling it because it just drove me crazy. If your going to get one make sure you can try it on in person with the ering.

Beautiful combination! I do agree you should try them on together first to be sure you like the look and how well the sit together. Nice choices!

I think they would be beautiful together...two bands, one on each side of your e-ring, would be gorgeous1

This. I think that type of v-shaped curved band would look beautiful, but I think it should be custom made to fit the ring. How 'bout one for the top and bottom of the ring? :naughty:

I think a straight pave band would look best.

I think with my budget I will be receiving the v shaped band first, as my engagement ring. Then the engagement ring as my wedding band, so I'm skeptical how to choose the right one D:

Can anyone photo shop this pic to make it look like a straight band rather than split shank? There will be space between the bands and that's okay. I'd get the pave, but I wear soooo little jewelry I think it could be too much.

I personally would rather my photos not get photoshopped.

You want the e-ring to be a straigth shank with the curved wedding band? I will be happy to take a photo with another ring of mine. What would the e-ring gallery be like - will it have a donut or not?

Pics aren't as sharp - didn't want to pull out the SLR.

Fabulous!

The only one of those I don't fancy from the pics is the last, the ring without split shank or doughnut. The other two are incredible with the curved band!!

I do like that in the Leon/band combo the diamonds on the doughnut don't come into contact with the band - it looks like they do on the Maytal?

Charmy, I am curious - does the band stay properly oriented with your Ering? When I tried on curved bands they always spun despite the curve, but the curves were very gradual, not sharp like yours.

The curved band was made specifically for the Leon e-ring. The curves were designed to curve with the e-ring (any gap is because of how I was squeezing the rings between my fingers). The design also minimizes the rubbing of diamonds to metal.

There are probably ways to adjust the curve band with the Maytal ring so it doesn't rub. However, I don't wear the curved band with the Maytal ring. The straight band is used with that ring.

The two rings are usually oriented together. The way it is made .. it just sorta locks like that :)

Thank you Charmy for those photos! I want my ring to have a shank that goes upward towards the stone but those photos really helped, thanks! The ring will have a donut, so I think it should be fine then?
