Hey DF,

Good question.

I'll only talk about the two I'm fairly sure about.

Cartier is French and is pronounced 'kah (as in 'cut') -r(pronounced with at the back of the throat)-ti-eh (as in 'desk') [final 'r' is silent]. Most speakers of English tend to stress the first syllable but it's actually the last one, i.e. 'eh', that is supposed to be stressed.

Verragio is Italian and is pronounced 've (as in 'desk' not as in 'dee') - ra - ji (as in 'jilt') - o (as in 'odd' not as in 'oh')'. Second syllable, i.e. 'ra', is stressed.

Hope this helps.

Me too! I love to say "Kha Tea AAA"...usually with my pinkie in the air.

Plus add this one...not yet addressed for ol ''Henry Dossy''...

On Re DOS See

LM is what I usually say...I still can''t catch that one right. I want to say MEE Geee but I have read far too many corrections on the board...and then heard it over the phone too. But I still like think of him as one of the Bee Gee Brothers and so it is Mee Gee for me! Stayin Alive...I I I I stayin alive!

That smiley is me singing by the way. Now who is the dork Sparkly Blonde? Didn''t I trump you?

In France, Cartier is pronounced with only two syllables not three like in North America; it''s not ''car tee ay'' but more like ''kahr tyeh''
