how do i fill in this response card?

Hi Ladies,

This is probably a silly question that a) I should know the answer to and b) doesn''t really matter, but I need to complete a response card for a friend''s wedding and I don''t know how to do it ''right''. My DH and I will be attending. The part of the card I need to fill in looks like this:

M_____________________________
________ number attending

So... Would I complete it like:

Mr. and Mrs. HisFirstName OurLastName
2 number attending

The number attending part seems odd to me. And I would like to have my FirstName included on the card, but I don''t know if that is ''proper''.

Thoughts???

You can put whatever you want on the M____ line. Technically it''s to start with Mr. or Mrs., but as long as the bride and groom know who is responding and how many are attending, that''s all they care about.

First question: How is the invitation addressed? It should be written the same way.

If it said-
Hername & Hisname Lastname... then that is how you write the RSVP

If it said-
Mr and Mrs Hisname Lastname... then that is how you write the RSVP
