Hi PS -

Y''all have been an absolutely invaluable resource for me. I''ve learned so much! Now hopefully you can help me figure out what to do....

My GF wants a cushion cut stone in a halo setting with a micro pave band. We''ve talked about shapes, but I''m on my own to pick the actual stone and ring. I''m thinking Bee Cushion''s (https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-ring-pics-finally.72183/) would be perfect. I''m hoping Mark at ERD can make it for me.

Question: what do I do about a wedding band?

I know my GF wants to wear a band, but she seems to have two competing desires:
1) She wants a flush-to-the-finger engagement ring so that it doesn''t snag, but
2) She also wants to be able to wear a wedding band that lays flush against the engagement ring without a gap.

Any suggestions?

I think you may be using "flush" in two different ways here. It sounds like what your lady wants is a low-set engagement ring that will be able to *sit* flush with the wedding ring, yes?

What you''ll need to do is find an e-ring that doesn''t necessarily have any protruding bits on the shank and get a wedding band of matching width. I''m sure PS can point you in the right direction, but can you say a bit more about what you''re looking for? Prongs, bezel ...?

Exactly, Circe. Check out this link: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-ring-pics-finally.72183/

That''s the setting I have in mind. What do you (and others) think? Can I put a wedding band next to this?
