Any one have the solution? I tried the HTML codes with the underline, but didn''t work.

Thanks

Hi! use the the button that has a world and a link picture on it. Paste the link into that.

OK, I''m not too proud to look stupid in the interest of learning something... where is this magic button with the world on it???

And then you just highlight the URL and click that button? Or something else?

Sometimes people rename the URL link to something more descriptive--how do you do that?

(Sorry if these are stupid questions and I''ve always wondered how people do this so I''m glad someone finally asked!)

All I do is press control-c to copy the link and then press control-v to paste the link in the post, and then the underlined link shows on the post.

Can you rename it then to something descriptive like "DJ''s ring" or does it keep the URL address as the link?

She is doing it right now, so this thread can stop!

Doing what right now?

She started a new thread and was able to post an active link. Yesterday she was typing out links that were not underlined and you couldn''t click them to go to the page. She is doing it right now on another thread.

Gotcha!

yes. when you hit the world a box comes up where you can write something descriptive and hit *ok*. then another box will come up where you can paste the link

I don''t see the world box either, but it seems to be easier to just copy and paste the link, to me!

the world box is the one on the far right, it''s a circle (blue and green) with a little link icon. you have to be replying to a post to see it..

Ah ha--Now I understand!!! Thank you Mrs. S.!
