i would go neutral! like, appropriately, ''blushing bride'' by essie.
or do an american manicure!
What about pale pink for your fingers but a shiny metallic pink for your toes? That''ll give you the coverage you need to cover your bruise, and will match the fingers without being perfectly matchy. I''ve done that before--might not be formal enough of a look, but it works--at least for me!Date: 10/5/2009 2:51:17 PM

I hope a pale color provides enough coverage... I dropped something on my left big toe and if its not painted, there''s a big ugly blue bruise that you can see.![]()
Where did you get that?? Sounds interesting!Date: 10/5/2009 5:30:18 PM

I paint with clear polish and then used this great pencil thing I found to colour the underside of my nails white. It''s like a eyeliner pencil but white and intended to be used under your nails. you get the effect of the french manicure but alot more natural looking and it''s SO EASY, I''m horrible at painting on coloured polish but this I can do and it looks gooood.
Just a local phamacy by all the manicure stuff (I live in NZ so telling you exactly where I got it is probably not going to be very helpful, sorry)Date: 10/5/2009 5:41:57 PM

cocolaw, I did the gel manicure for my wedding and loved it! My wedding day was september 19th and they still look flawless (well, except for the nail that is growing in on the bottom, there is a bit of that now that I''m not fond of). But really, normal manicures last about 5 hours on me before chipping, so this was amazing.
