What do you think of my stone?

RB EGL Ideal Cut

Carat: 1.11
Meas: 6.73x6.69x4.01mm
Flour: faint blue
Polish: very good
Symmetry: very good
Clarity: SI1
Color: I

Price: $4200

I was originally looking for an H color or higher, but this stone truly shows no signs of yellow whatsoever...I even received a compliment on how white my stone is from someone who didn''t know the grade. The measurements on this one are pretty much what I had been looking at for other stones that were closer to 1.20, so I figured I had it made with this stone. What do you all think of the stats?

Graded by a strict lab, I LOVE the color/clarity combo. I also love the size and the faint flouro. But without the table and depth numbers and the crown and pav angles, it is impossible to determine the cut. But you have seen it, you love it... that's all you need to know at this point, no?

Your $/Crt sounds like an extremely great deal to me. What does it score on the HCA?

Guess that answers my question...I didn''t know about this thing, so thanks!

The stats suggest a very nice stone. It should be an EGL USA cert, so grading should be pretty much dead on. I would get it checked anyways just to make sure it is what the paper say. Truth to be told, it would be a good deal even if it graded out as J/SI1 or I/SI2.

You''re right, it''s EGL USA. Their offices are actually near my jeweler, so I had them confirm the stone for me. I''m glad to hear that it''s a good one!
