How did I do on my setting?

I''m not sure what your question is asking. Are you looking for compliments about your choice, if we think you paid the right amount, or if you can get it cheap somewhere else?

Congrats, it''s a beautiful setting. You got a nice discount. Please come back with hand shots.

It is a very nice setting!

I want to make sure I paid the right amount. But if someone had a tip on a better deal I would appreciate that too!

Seems a bit high for a white gold setting to tell you the truth... I found similar items at whiteflash.com in platinum for that price range, but I''m sure there is a premium for the designer branding, not that anyone would ever know. With classic designs like this, which I love by the way, I don''t really see the point in going "designer" for it, but that''s the call you have to make on where to spend your money. I just think platinum could be had at that price.

I agree, it is a little more than I originally set out to spend. I found the platinum version of this ring first but, at 2800 I was relieved to hear they had a gold alternative. I also agree designer brands are priced higher than their counterparts, but I scoured the internet looking for 6 princess cut channel set diamonds and a some form of a trellis setting, but nothing spoke to me the way this one did. Sometimes you just know I guess!

Would it have been worth my time to see what it would cost for a custom copy? Is there a remarkably similiar non designer setting out there?

I''m not sure about price, but it''s really pretty. Good job. Enjoy!!

So the answer to my question is YES, there is a better deal out there. Pearlmansjewelers.com just quoted me 1650.00. BillBarnes luckily did a price match.

Designer settings usually cost more than non-designer ones. If you have bought it, are you still shopping and plan to return it if you find it cheaper? If so, call Collections and get their price on it. They sell Ritani.

Very good! I''m glad that you got a price reduction, very honorable of BillBarnes.com!

Thank you NeverEndingUpgrade, Collections Fine Jewelry did have a lower price than Pearlmans. They should really post their information on the Authorized retailer section of the Ritani website.
