How bad is this Asscher ASET?

Dear knowledgeable members of PS, please share your thoughts on this ASET belonging to a small asscher cut diamond. I know it is not top-of-the-line, but just how "bad" is it?

I'm seeing some nice red in the center. Then there seems to be a leakage area, but how much you think it will affect overall performance? I know ASET is not everything, and you would need additional data and pictures, but just evaluating this ASET image, what do you say?

I was planning to use this inexpensive small thing on a project.

To defend this stone, I have to say it has huge spread for its size So, it is a bit shallow. Now the question is, whether is still performs well enough or should I indeed pay nearly double the money for a one the same size (mm) and more carat weight and a better ASET

Any further opinions? I'm trying hard to learn I think I will skip this stone, but it would be very nice if I could nonetheless get more experienced people commenting on this ASET.

HI Nojs,
Your thread highlights a common misunderstanding of ASET on this forum.
A "bad aset" is one that is out of focus or poorly lit- like a bad photograph.
Of course there's well cut Asschers and poorly cut Asscher diamonds- and for sure an ASET can be helpful to someone that understands exactly what it's telling us.

Getting back to well cut versus poorly cut- that's a broader question- and there's going to be a lot of debate as to which is which in some cases.
Personally, I place a pretty high priority on spread.
If I can find a well cut asscher with a good spread, I'm always interested.
They are rare but they do exist.

This and I also want to know if the black near the center is leakage or a refection of the lens in the ASET.
It is hard to tell in this case.

overall I would like to see a bit more red in the aset.
