Hotmail trouble?

How odd. I just tried my imac and DH''s computer and I couldn''t sign in on either.

Funny you asked.I just tried to sign in ( first time user would be) Spent hours trying to get an address not yet taken.AFter all of this was done and seconds before giving up all together my address got accepted.Then selected not to receive email advertising etc, was told that if after 10 days the adds do not stop I am to notify them.Then had pages of adds each time I tried to log on and send email.That''s before even ever using hotmail.Got frustrated and won''t go back. Looking for another solution and just posted a question hopefully someone will give me a better solution for my mac. I don''t know which one is free and a good one.
