Hotel Downs ( help with thread count )

I really want a puffy down, like in the marriot hotels lol
Just got back from my honeymoon and now i want a million pillows and fat puffy cloud of a down. would that mean that the thread count would have to be high? or does it mean i should get Down Alternative or just the down

Nope, thread count describes the thread per square inch in the fabric, not the qualities of the loft. For "fat, puffy", you look for a higher quantity of down (measured in terms of ounces of weight), and a higher quality of down (measured in terms of fill power, the higher the better, ranging typically in 50-point increments from 500 to 850).

You can either call a Marriot hotel OR a RITZ Carlton gift shop near you.
They can process your order over the phone and send it to you.
I work at such a gift shop and am sending pillows AND linens to folks all over the country.
