First of all, thanks to everyone who helped to educate me about diamonds and advised me about the right diamond to purchase. I couldn''t have done it without you. Also a big thank you to Josh at James Allen who spent several hours on the phone with me to narrow down my selection to my final choice. Thank you and thanks to the others who responded. The setting is a line by Verragio called Impressa and it''s a 3 Row Round Channel and Pave Set.45tcw G SI. JA had their GG gemologist pull the center stone from the vault and she spent 25 minutes on the phone with me assuring me that it was an eye-clean SI2. Both she and the independent appraiser that I used thought the GIA clarity grading was too harsh; they thought it was more like a SI1 or maybe even a VS2. In any event, my fiancee loves the ring and that is all that really counts.
