I am new to the forum and wanted a few honest opinions on a diamond that I recently purchased. If it is not a "good buy" I'd like to know so that I can find a new one. Thanks in advance!

AGS 1 in light performance, so not optimal.

Check out this comp. It does have AGS 0 Ideal light performance. If the price is the same or lower when compared to JA, opt for this one:
1.2ct, G, VS2

I think the table is just too large on the one you bought even though it is a very pretty stone. The size table on the stone Rocky posted is nicer, in my opinion, and allows a little more crown.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did not want to go with anything less than a VS1 for clarity. What table to depth ratio should I be looking at? I couldn't find anything difinitive anywhere....

Thanks rocky. Again... I wasn't looking for anything less than a VS1 for clarity. While I know the differences may be very subtle, in my head it makes a difference. Is there a big difference between the 0 vs 1 grading for light performance?
