Holy schnikes, I had my "THIS IS THE DRESS" moment

Craziness!

I went with my parents to Kleinfeld (this has like always been my dream -- my mom got her dresses for my bat mitzvah and my brother''s bar mitzvah there years and years ago -- she took me with her for the dress for my brother''s and promised we''d go back for my wedding dress)

Anyway, my consultant, Debbie, was fabulous and she picked the perfect dress for me, one I''d never have picked up off the rack:

Sorry for the link and lack of pics -- the screwed-up ankle was making things difficult and I couldn''t stand totally straight.

But seriously, when I put it on ... I knew. It''s not the blingy ballgown I thought I''d get, but it''s perfect. It just is!

Not filming, but Joan did come in to talk to me (we had to work some stuff out b/c of the injury and delayed order). She is EXACTLY how she seems on TV!

Seriously, I couldn''t keep still, even with the big boot/cast on my leg -- my feet were at totally different heights.

That''s great you got "the" moment. Not everyone gets that but when you do it makes the experience so much more special, knowing that you found the dress you LOVE and it also gives you some peace of mind you made the right choice
