Oh My,
I''m all shaken up because I just shipped my ering off to James Allen to be reset.
Why is that just so dang scary?
The poor woman at the post office had to constantly reassure me!
I am both thrilled and terrified!
 
It will be fine; I was nervous too! Can''t wait to see it set!!!!

They are wonderful sweethearts-- (also weirdly the reason for my finger injury--that lead to this reset!)

Thanks Irish Breakfast~ I must admit I had to talk myself down. I freaked out when I left the Post Office.
I''ve marked the calendar! My ring should get to Danhov in about 2 or 3 days.
Then about 2 or so weeks for the reset.
How does one not CONSTANTLY think about it?
I have too much time on my hands being a teacher with the summer off!

You know, it''s funny ~ I have a dane-inflicted injury, too! I slipped on his drool and cut my arm on his crate! No, seriously! LOL! This was a few years ago and I now have a really nasty scar from this incident. (Fortunately, it''s on the underside of my arm so no one sees it; unfortunately, it didn''t get me any bling! LOL!)

And I feel your pain on the waiting. DH and I recently ordered me a pair of princess-cut studs for my birthday, and they''re not here yet! The guy is supposed to e-mail me when he ships them, and I''m like obsessively checking my e-mail! LOL!

I'll have to see if I can get some decent pictures of Caesar and our other two dogs (who are both lab mixes). DH has our digital camera stashed away with his fishing stuff somewhere, so I'll have to get him to dig it out!

How is your finger doing? Has the swelling finally gone down?

I have a small scar between my eyes from my Newfie''s big ol'' drooly noggin''. I bent over him to grab a toy he was playing with and he excitedly lifted his head up...right into mine. It could have been worse, though, if his head had hit me a few inches lower, he would have broken my nose (sorry to hear about your broken nose, 2danes!). I didn''t get any bling for it, either...just a couple of stitches.
 
We totally need to create a pet thread if there isn't one already!
Maybe if we had our pets posing with diamonds?

That's EXACTLY how I broke my nose, lol! I was standing over my sweet little pup (at over 100 lbs.)
and she got excited and lifted her head into my nose.. I TOTALLY saw stars!
I actually (truth be told) broke it a couple more times before fixing it, from some sports related events-- but my
pup caused the first crack.

Okay, off to check the status of my diamond, something new to obsess about!

Oh, and edited to add that my finger is doing well! I just got home from therapy, and I can almost make a fist again!
It will be a long time before it's completely healed, but the size of my knuckle now is mostly bone, so I decided it was
time to get that RING!
Therapy is kind of fun, I get to dip my hand in parafin, it's kind of like a spa, but then they torture me, lol.
