There isn''t enough information to make an assessment as to whether the stone is beautiful or not.
1. NO picture. How on earth can I say if it is beautiful?
2. Need ASET to check for light performance
3. 6.61 x 6.37 x 4.63 mm = Not too square. How particular are you?

The diamond you linked seems to have been purchased, not sure if you turned the key on it. If not, I'd do either of these two (remember the PS discount with this vendor):

couldn't get the links to work, but ok now.

bottom line, is this a good buy?

Bottom line, it's hard to say without pictures or more details re: light performance, it's just hard to gauge a princess without that information and without seeing it in person. That's why I recommended the two above - basically the same price, same carat weight, hand-selected by a reputable vendor (not just drop-shipped like the BN), and there are pictures, IS images, ASET, and other means to assess what you'll actually be getting.

ETA: Of the 2 I recommended above, the second is AGS0 certified for light performance. As far as I know, AGS is the only lab that certifies princesses for light performance (someone else chime in?). Your stone is not AGS-certified so, again, you're sort of in the dark about what you'll be getting.

I think it''s nearly identical to the one you posted the other day. The color of the other one is slightly better in color (though one grade worse in clarity but will still be eye clean), but the polish and symmetry gradings and the spread is nearly identical.

I''m copying your other post:

Would you please be so kind to advise on this diamond? Would like to set it on a Trellis (Lucida) Platinum
setting....many thanks !!!!

Yes, the other one was a F VS2, but I was bit worried about the inclusions in the center.....therefore I decided to move to a higher grade..
and this is what i received as feedback from BN, however, since i like more the F color rather than the G, please advise, first, if there is a big
or a noticeble difference in color betwen these 2, and second, what do you have to say about what BN says about the F vs2:

"The inclusions are centered on the table with one on the edge of the girdle. Inclusions will have no impact on the diamonds brilliance if it is SI2 clarity or above so these inclusions are not large enough to deter light performance. I did notice that the stone has an indented natural, which means that a mineral bridges the surface of the stone, usually when polished, this is perhaps the inclusion on the pavilion. I find these less desirable inclusions than internal inclusions"

I personally would not buy a princess, sight unseen, unless it was an AGS000. I''m no princess pro though and would rather take the easy way of knowing that it got the highest grade from AGS than try to figure out all the numbers. AGS000 pretty much equals excellent stone...

F and G are next to each other in the colourless range. My guess is you will most likely see no difference.
VS1 and VS2 means you cannot see anything with the naked eye. A layperson will most likely not be able to see it with a 10x loupe but an expert can. My guess is that the inclusion on the table must be tiny and not noticeable, hence the VS2 rating. If it can be seen with the naked eye, then it would have been graded a SI1.

I agree with MrsS that I would choose to go with an AGS0 stone - no guesswork is needed because it is a guaranteed well cut stone. With GIA (and Blue Nile does not give you any pictures or provide light performance testing), you don't know what you are getting by just buying by the numbers. It could be a dud. Numbers tell you NOTHING about how well it sparkles for fany cut stones like a Princess.

Great! Where do I start to look?

I live in mexico, so I will in fact buy it online, this means without looking at the rock in person..

I have no other choice...
I thought that the GIA specs would tell a lot, but seems that most of your opinions here say
DO NOT...

Um, is this thing on? Start to look at the two I posted for you :)

whiteflash, icemine, pearlmans, winfields and i think goodoldgold are all highly regarded pricescope vendors who stock or can easily get in AGS000 princess stones. i would contact one or two of them, give them your budget and let them find it for you.

milton gave you a nice couple to look at too.
