I''ve been lurking on this site for about a month, trying to absorb as much information as I can. Good stuff so far, albeit a little overwhelming.

Is there any way to take the Holloway Cut Advisor with me to a diamond store, so that I can get its recommendation as the salesperson is showing me their diamonds?

A laptop with a Wi-Fi connection or a PDA that can dial up to the internet.

Even better if the store has a computer connected to the net use that.

I wanted to do that too but didn't have a laptop.

The stores were astonished to see me bring in my Idealscope.
I can't imagine how they will react to HCA.
They are not used to informed customers.
Many feel threatened.

Good for you.

Let us know how they react!

Kenny if you have an ideal-scope hCA is not required - HCA is for when you "cant see" the diamond.
Paper scissors rock

But you can always print a fer of the different table sized charts - 53%, 57% and 60% would suffice - and then you have HCA, GIA and AGS candidate info
