Do prices of diamonds and precious metals (platinum) tend to rise during the holidays? My fiance and I are ready to purchase our wedding bands, but I just realized pricing might be higher this time of year with all the gifts being purchased and holiday proposals bring planned.
Maybe we should wait until the holidays are over? We will be getting married August 2012 so there's no rush, but I figured we might as well get them sooner rather than later since prices have increased so much in the last couple years. His ring will be plat, mine will be plat with shared-prong diamonds.
