She has to keep pace with Nicole Ritchie, who just got engaged to her ex.
Gosh, we wouldn''t want The Most Important Moment of Their Young Lives to be marred by a teensy measly diamond of less than 4 carats, would we?
Quite often, in celebritydom, you can almost tell how long the relationship will last based on the eye-popping size of the diamond. Huge rock = don''t blink at the bling glare or you''ll miss it.
When I heard the carats, I thought it would be some gaudy thing, but that ring is tasteful.
It''s large but its simple and clean looking. In the way that Princess Diana''s sapphire was large but tastefully done. Or Princess Grace''s emerald cut.
I don''t have to worry about how it would look on me or if I''d like or not--it''s not coming MY way. Or anything remotely like it. But so what. I really have no idea who she is (I''m not up on current movie stars) but I wish her the best. I wish the marriage may be as nice as the ring and last a LONG time, which seems hard in Hollywood.
