Wow! I read an article that said it cost him $1 million! I read it and went, "Wow, it cost a million dollars! Wow! his family owns ''The Brick''!"

I''m probably just confused, but his family doesn''t own ''The Brick''. He plays for NHL Oilers, I believe. Unless you didn''t mean the store and just meant the diamond being the size of a brick? I''m slow tonight, sorry!

The article I just read said he''s an heir to The Brick and also plays for the Oilers. I still haven''t been able to find any decent pics online.

Hmmm...I dunno, that''s what the article said. But I also found it by Googling "Hilary Duff engagment ring" so it could be wrong. I was just looking for a picture of the ring, darn it! She needs to go out more and flash her left hand in front of the cameras so we can see the bling!

To each their own, but personally for me, there is such thing as too big. And I think that might be it. lol. But if you''re a big star, you probably have different standards of "comfortable" diamond sizes!

You're not missing much. Mike Comrie's father and two uncles founded The Brick, a furniture company. I assume that's why Mike is nicknamed 'The Brick'.

HIlary Duff's e-ring is HUGE but it looks great on her.

It''s very pretty, but way too big for my taste. When I see a big huge diamond like that on a younger person, it just doesn''t look "right" I guess?

Veneers....what I find odd is that her fourteen carat, at least to me, doesn't look much larger then a four carat diamond that I once tried on

No matter what, Hilary Duff’s engagement ring is amazingly beautiful, as is Carrie Underwood. Actually, in my opinion their rings are much prettier than the million dollar rings mentioned above.

That ring is at least 8 cts., Looks enormous in her hand. A 4.5 cts will look big but not massive.

I much prefer stones that size to be in pendants... much more elegant to me. I think 3 is probably my limit for on hand stones... but I''m me lol
