High sitting diamond??

Please share pics of engagement rings with diamonds that are set high (prong head, mounted on band, etc.).

For those of you that have rings that have a "high setting" (diamond mount), do you hate it? I chose a setting I really liked, but now I am afraid the diamond will sit up too high. Help!

No pictures from me - not a fan of high settings. What I consider high is probably low for others.

My solitaire sits rather high. Here is a link to my original SMTR thread (for some reason it doesn't show up in search -- go figure). https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-vatche-tree-inspired-ring.60450/ If you scroll thru there are some hand shots (sorry they are so blurry ETA better hand shot on page 2 with height evident). It took some getting used to but the whole wearing a ring thing took some getting used to in general. That said, with 4 prongs it might have been a disaster. The 2 extras give it more protection from the occasional bonk. Also, it is a solitaire so no other diamonds to worry about and it is heavy enough that (hopefully) the structural integrity won't be an issue. With a super delicate ring pave I expect the height might be more of a problem. Also I don't work with my hands (unless you count typing/clicking). If I was in food service or medicine I don't think this would have worked. Good luck!
