...looking at vintage jewelry online! Mainly I get the itch to look for old European cut diamonds (rings or loose) and aquamarine (which is lovingly referred to as my “Happy Blue”). I find myself searching several times a day. I just love to window shop and drool over pieces I’ll never own. My husband laughs at me.... as he searches Jeep forums. LOL!

What’s your weakness?

I have a seemingly incurable case of DSS

I fear even a diamond the size of a paperweight would be “ not quite big enough” :rolleyes2:
I wonder if the one below might work ....

I had for many many years I had a complete obsession with ladies vintage watches.
I was spending any money I had on them and over the years accrued more than a few. Like dozens!
Nearly all from eBay as the pickings here in Australia are fairly slim.
So, it’s actually been a while since I bought a watch and have actually downsized a few (hubby said no more watches !).
Now, with my vast collection of gems, I’m instead looking at settings and sitting around playing with “gem combinations”. Setting gems here in Australia is just so expensive so I haven’t actually set any yet.
Truth (long story ha ha) will be the first gem set.
Next is probably the 2 sapphires into earrings or one of the rubies into a ring.

I am addicted to looking at vintage jewellery online too :rolleyes2: I love looking at upgrade ideas so that when I am in a position to do so, I know what to get!

Step cuts: Emerald Cut, Asscher Cut, Royal Asscher Cut, and Octavia Cut Diamonds. I’m also intrigued by Carre Cut Diamonds. All Step Cut Diamonds. These are my obsession; my addiction.
Next, Antique/Vintage settings for step cuts. Scrolling & trolling online (IG, PS, and all over). Always looking for new ideas. :mrgreen2:
Finally, Antique Jewelry. All Antique Jewelry. Thank you for the new link, @ohsomethingshiny!! Lucy is gorgeous!!! ;)2

I just love jewellery in general lol. Walking into a jewellery store energizes me so I gotta get my fix as much as possible even if I just come there to look lolol
I have been this way since I was little and first allowed in grandmas jewellery box. I remember having an obsession with clip ons even though they hurt.
Now I'm obsessed with stacking rings and big coloured stone statement necklaces lol. We can't afford to buy me much at the moment, especially with just having had our daughter. But I really enjoy my time here lurking and drooling over stuff everyone else gets :D plus all the information here is awesome. Going to really help out when I can get what I want :D

For those of you who love to stalk antique jewelry online - have you listed your fav vendors on the vendor thread in the antique forum? I love to look too so please share :geek2: I wonder if we should expand the thread to include social media in addition to websites. Seems like some jewelers are doing more on social media than websites. Or maybe add a thread that is for social media to follow for knowledge/inspiration for good resources that aren’t vendors.

I'm addicted to jewelry in general! Anything sparkly! I also love to read all about the engagements....kind of like 'Hallmark' on Pricescope=)2!

Dried fruit.

sorry...not bling related..

I will run you over for some dried mangos. Don’t even bring dried pineapples in the house.. I eat them until their enzymes burn my throat.

Damn you Costco for making super huge bags of dried fruit that make me eat that and nothing else.. nothing.. no meat, salad, veggies.

Sigh.

Buying cute summer dresses at places like Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack. I will buy damn near anything that fits for $19.99! And don't even get me started on sandals right now... :eek-2:

I am just addicted to those places!

This is an excellent idea, as I'm already spending all my waking hours (and I have a lot of it, with a 3 month old baby) browsing IG for antique jewelry :P2

My weakness is buying too many blings!

I don’t know what has happened to me, but this obsession with shiny things has really grown for me in the last year. I have bought two substantial rings, a necklace, earrings, and a watch in the last six months. :eek2: And that doesn’t include a few “play” pieces.

Hmmm, perhaps a half carat more? What are the measurements? Is it an ACA?

Truth shines bright and I am so glad she shed “light” on that whole situation. You’re an absolute angel to be willing to do something so generous for someone like that. ❤️

I’d love to pick your brain to help me find my “Happy Blue” one day.

Yaaasssss! That’s me too.

I have never had a step cut. I feel like I should learn more to appreciate them more because they are beautiful, refined, and oh so classy!

And you are so welcome! The father and son were so kind to us. And finding Lucy was such an amazing experience. I just got her sized on Saturday and so now she’s a permanent fixture on the left hand.

Congrats on your baby girl!

And the lurking is great because it’s free!

That’s me and avocado. I could eat it for every meal.

My jewelry obsession has helped me overcome my Marshalls one. LOL!

Do you have a thread on your watch collection? I would love to see it! I have been obsessed with finding a antique diamond dress watch for awhile now, but haven't found one that fit the bill yet, at least not one that was in the budget:wall:

The lurking STARTS OUT free... but somehow it always ends up costing me $$$ in the end! :cheeky:

I am accumulating far too much perfume. There are just so many scents that I want to try and discounters like FragranceNet. make it much too easy. I am currently awaiting a sample of L'Artisn Paefumeurs Drole de Rose and trying to talk myself out of a decant of Comme des Garcons Series 5 Sherbet: Peppermint. Also scouting out an asscher cut and setting ideas.

I love perfume, but I rarely buy it. Too scared that I will think I liked it, you know after sampling 1,637 scents in five minutes, and realize I don’t after I get it home.
