Just realised I've been lurking for 2 years without saying hi. How rude of me!!!
So hello everybody. I am new and I tumble around all kinds of coloured stones without much experience
. I love nearly every kind of rocks. I am probably a bit of a Scrooge at times and always on the lookout for a bargain/steal, as I work as a tiny admin at a local hospital with a salary of a lot < a carat of exceptional Alexandrite 
.
I have a very limited and inexpensive collection of jewellery
, which I am (hopefully) in the process of letting go and building up a better collection . I like going to mineral/rocks/gems shows if/when I can (not a lot around UK so always have to play waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead and determine whether I have the money to spend (on the candies 
, although not a problem going there). I am also dreaming to save up enough to get a recognised gemology course/certificate some day, although I think that dream is kind of abandoned some years ago 
.
