Okay-bouncing off DF's thread about personality I thought it would fun to state their Astrological sign, Chinese Astrology sign and their Myers-Brigg personality type.

I'll start I'm a Gemini with Aquarius rising. Chinese wood Dragon & personality type: ENFJ.
One of my sons is an Aquarius/Tiger
Other son is an Aquarius/Sheep
DH is a Pisces/Tiger

Link to lookup your Chinese sign: http://www.astrology.com/chinese-astrology
Link to Myers-Briggs test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

I wonder if our bling choices will be similar across similar signs/types.

So Hey Baby-Whats your sign?

I believe in Chinese i'm a water dog =)

Water Libran/ wood(?) Pig.

Oh, fun!

Taurus (can't remember the rising)
Myers-Briggs: INFJ
Chinese: Sheep/Wood

All of them seem to be fairly accurate, with a few quibbles here and there.

Back in the 1980's, when my DH and I first took the Myers-Briggs, it immediately explained some personality conflicts we had been having for years. Interesting stuff, even if it doesn't explain everything.

I'm a Monkey Taurus :)

ENTJ
Extravert(1%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(12%) Judging(78%)

You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (78%)

I'm a Pisces, rooster, and INFP

INTJ, Virgo, Rooster!

Reading descriptions of INTJs is spooky because it's like they're writing about me specifically! Virgo and Rooster are both pretty spot on as well.

Oh, I'm Taurus with Capricorn Rising. It makes me sound like a total b*tch.

Your psychological nature is introverted and cold, totally controlled and phlegmatic, at least regarding the image you project invariably. You seem unemotional and austere. Actually, your secondarity chews over the strategies or responses that you create as a recation to the environment. You are slow but very thoughtful, solid and balanced. You are as curt as you are cold and you put the strength of your character at the service of your huge and long-term ambition. Or you may be detached from the earthly riches and you focus on spiritual values.

Like all the people born under an apparently reserved and tough sign, your inner personality is often charming and gentle, as if the thick armour, forged throughout childhood, had entirely preserved the purity and the warmth of the soul imprisoned within.

With this Ascendant, you come across as serious, cold, disciplined, patient, focused, thoughtful, ambitious, indomitable, cautious, lucid, persistent, provident, steady, introverted, stern, wilful, hard-working, responsible, persevering, honest, realistic, loyal, reserved, resolute, moralistic, quiet, rigorous, attached and reliable. But you may also be curt, withdrawn, calculating, petty, cruel, unpleasant, ruthless, selfish, dull, rigid, slow or sceptical.

INTJ, just barely this side of ISTJ

And... tiger?
Hmm.

Tigers are born leaders. They have an air of authority that prompts others to fall in line, which is exactly how they like it -- Definitely not, sadly!

A Tiger's main interest is in following its ambitions -- and maintaining control -- True...

Tigers will fight the good fight to the bitter end if the cause is worthy -- Very true - I'd amend it to "if they believe the cause is worthy" - sometimes there are better things to be bothered by, logically, but I'll fight anyway!

often feel things more intensely than others, the latter quality being both good and bad -- I often think I feel things less intensely than others...

Aquarius, INFJ, Sheep

Sagittarius and dog.

Gemini - Libra rising - Aquarius Moon (all 3 air signs)

INTJ

eta Chinese sign - Ox

I've forgotten my Myers-Briggs type, will have to retake when I get home tonight.

I am the epitome of a Capricorn - driven, finance oriented, very into my job, bent on "success," whatever that may be at the time.
Out of about 40 of my direct coworkers, nearly HALF of us are Capricorns!

I am also the epitome of a wood rat. Rats and Capricorns are very similar, so I seem to have received a double personality dose!

Wow, there are quite a few of INTJs on here. A much higher concentration than in the general population - coincidence?

INTJ through and through.

I think this personality type is predisposed towards spending more time on the internet using written communication than the others, which would explain why there are more INTJs here (and on any other forum on which I post, but not social networking sites). Just something I've noticed. I have read more about this topic in the past but I don't remember where I last read about it.

I'm born summer soltice so sometimes the calendar has me as a cancer and sometimes a Gemini. I think on the Chinese zodiac I'm a pig  Not good for a Jewish girl. :?

Virgo, Dog, ESTJ

I know I took this test before on PS but cannot remember what I scored. Just took it again and I got ENFJ. Not sure I am really an extrovert though but I only got 22% Extrovert so maybe I am just a little.

My chinese zodiac is Snake and American sign is Leo. Both of which match my characteristics IRL I think.

LOL Sarah- just because your zodiac is pig doesn't mean you have to eat one... I think it's A-OK.

My Chinese zodiac sign is the dragon.

My spirit animal is a cross between an otter, a squirrel, and a magpie.

SHINY!

Capricorn (no idea what is rising, falling, burning, flailing...)
Dog
ESFJ (heavy on the sensing and judging... oh! who knew?!?!) ;))

I think the Capricorn description is very true to type, as is the Myers Briggs --- don't know enough about the Chinese zodiac.

Just found this site to determine Moon sign: http://www.lunarium.co.uk/moonsign/
According to this site the placement of your moon sign has a huge impact on woman. So I have the Moon in Aquarius too.
I can completely relate
: Original, knowledgeable, competent, has strong opinions. Likes freedom, enjoys reading. Hates mediocrity and incompetence.
In many life situations, the Moon in Aquarius people have their own, distinct and sometimes very original opinion, and they are not going to change this opinion no matter what, even if they will be left completely alone. It is very important for these individuals to retain their independence. They don't want their personal life to be anybody else's concern.
To restore after a significant stress, the Moon in Aquarius persons need to have a hobby which they could plunge themselves into, forgetting about the surrounding world. It would be really good for them if they could speak out their problems, but this is not so easy, because Lunar Aquarians do not like to just chat with anyone about anything. They prefer dealing with experts in their field of interest - this is with whom they are ready to talk endlessly. And if there is no such a person around, a good book could serve as a replacement for a friend. Hmmmm, must be why I'm addicted to PS.
The Moon in Aquarius parents can be very original. From the early years they will make clear to their child that everyone's individuality is precious, and everyone should be independent. As a result, their kids might not be always properly fed or dressed, but they will become self-reliant earlier than their peers, and their talents will develop more successfully.
This is the kind of mom I am. Both of my sons, also being Aquarius are very artistic and creative, will never pick white collar careers and are extremely self reliant and mature beyond their years.

LOLOLOL!! That's so true Yssie!!

Gemini with Virgo rising
Rat
ENFJ

All of which are EXTREMELY accurate distillations of my personality. Any time I read any descriptions for these signs, I find myself nodding in vehement agreement.

Using this method, my spirit animal is the mutt resulting from a happy back alley encounter between a wolf and a greyhound escaped from the track! A little mangy... by FAST when the spirit moves me!

SarahB-If you know your exact time of birth & the zone you can find out your correct sign.

I just read the pig attributes and it is a wonderful sign. I wouldn't be too concerned :))
