I agree - by itself, people might not know for sure that it''s an e-ring, but with the wedding band, there is no doubt of what they signify. And they look really, really pretty together! Your amethyst looks beautiful!

BEAUTIFUL!!!! The two together, IMO, are without question a wedding set! And the color of your amethyst is GORGEOUS!!!
Don''t worry if people don''t get it. There will always be someone who feels obliged to make a negative comment, regardless what style/ stone it is. I agree that with the WB it should be obvious. What matters is that it''s beautiful, heartfelt and you love it.
please don''t wear the amethyst 24/7 though. wear it when you leave the house only? the stone just isn''t hard enough to take housework, gardening, dishwashing, etc. however, i''ve known people that don''t care if the stone gets worn and rounded.....even sapphires will do that over enough time.
Wow that really is beautiful!! I love the color of the amethyst - it''s so much brighter and warmer than I was expecting! Hehe I can see WHY you walked in to look and walked out with a RING!!! hehehe
Did you talk to BF or think any about whether to keep it as the wedding set or not, with it being so soft?
I definitely think it looks like a wedding set! And a very pretty one at that! One thing to think about though is if you decide to keep the amethyst as the ering and decide not to wear it all the time at work and such, the wedding band is not a wear-alone type ring - it looks like it''s made to fit against the ering and would look odd by itself. That only would apply though if you still want to wear your band when not wearing the ering. Just something to think about, if you''re still in the thinking stages!
It is gorgeous! It looks like a wedding ring to me... especially with the band! There are no rules when it comes to what one would like as an ering....
What a gorgeous amethyst! Your stone is such a bright, vibrant and pretty color.
I think it looks like an e-ring, and I think the wedding band only helps that appearance. If people can''t tell it''s a wedding set, then they''re not looking hard enough, and that''s a shame, because WOW!
