What do you think of the looks of this ring?

Do you know of any places to buy a white gold ring like this for less than $1000 USD? That seems VERY expensive to me. I thought a great ring would cost like $600.

Hmmm that is not how I would have thought of a channel set ring.

Looks mor like a tension set to me. That said what is the metal being used? I would say email a picutre to a custom person and ask how much it would cost to make. My guess though is if it is platnuim it will be more expensive the 600. (Prices often vary due to the size of the stone.)

I could see how it is being called a chanel set diamond if I picture other diamonds set the same way going around the band, but it also appears to be some sort of tension setting. For a thick band like that in platinum I would imagine that it would cost more than $600. I woud get some custom quotes from a few different vendors and compare costs. I would also suggest after you get the quotes if they are too high asking if they have any reccomendations on something very similar that would fall in your price range, maybe a slightly thinner band, or even white gold.

The interesting thing about this ring is, in platinum, it''s $1300, and in 14K gold, it''s $1100.

It could be called a channel set i guess but on the page and a more currect name is a half bezel setting with strait bezels.
The price does seem way high to me also.

I was browsing and saw the post. That item is mispriced. The platinum price is correct (it''s a wide ring) but in gold it should be much less.

We''ll check with manufacturing and get that updated today.

Also, I think the description should be half-bezel as well, so I''ll have that changed when we update the price.

Thats kewl Jim I was wondering about that, with a ring that weight the price difference between gold and plat should have been higher.
But then ring pricing doesnt follow any logic sometimes so I just shrugged. LOL

Prices has been updated on the website. Turns out we sell this pretty well in platinum but don''t have any sales in gold - wonder why

Price in gold is $575. Everyone of these is a custom job to fit the center diamond.
