As for what I am doing with it, I just cut/pasted this from my other thread:" Marquise found"

I found an heirloom piece at a local jewelry store and instantly fell in love with it and luckily the original manufacturer will be able to custom make one for my marquise. It will be set east-west in a platinum setting. There is 3 sided pave on the band and, well, it is just really different and hard to describe beyond that. The part that holds the diamond curves upward, kind of like a canoe. I have never seen anything like it. When it's done I will post lots of pictures.
