FI and I brought home this little girl last Sunday. She is 11 weeks old and already weighs 28 lbs! Her show name is Uno Grande Vital Force, but we call her Hera. She's an English Mastiff and will probably end up being around 180lbs or so. Her daddy weighs 240 lbs and her mom weighs about 170 lbs. So, to get to the part that all of you would actually be interested in... pics!

Packie: Sometimes I can convince her to lay still long enough for a belly rub. She's just so squishable!

Maisie: I love the wrinkles too. It's so cute when she looks at you with those cute forehead wrinkles.

Cehrabehra: The dog in turner and hooch was a french mastiff, and yes, all mastiffs slobber, but females much less so. And Hera does not come from really jowel-ly parents, so I have hope!

cnspotts: right now she eats three cups of food a day, when she's full grown she'll eat anywhere from four to eight cups a day. I'm sure the poop will be enormous. Thank God we have free poop baggies in our complex. And I can't believe how many Hera's there are on this board. I had never heard the name before FI found it on the internet.

Red: Hera is beautiful! I showed the pic to my SO and he said awww what a cute puppy, but that's going to be a BIG dog! LOL! I love big dogs and I can't wait until we have a house with a yard big enough for a 150-200lbs friend

I can never see enough photos of cute little puppies! (or kittens!) What a little sweetie, but not for long, she's going to grow fast!

I second the you'll get used to the slobber, pretty soon you'll learn to step quickly away from her face after she's eaten or drank, and you'll become very adept at the quick-before-she-notices-snout wipe.

Give her some hugs while you can still pick her up!
