I really want to chose a dress for my girls that isnt floorlength on the off chance they may ever be able to wear it again. If i got a dress like the one below, could i just have it hemmed up to cocktail/tea length?
There''s no reason that it couldn''t be hemmed to tea length. My wedding dress was hemmed to tea length for about $40. The problems are going to be; 1-price, it might be more expensive than you counted on or than it is for just a regular floor length hem (my wedding dress wasn''t actually a "wedding" dress so the price wasn''t outrageous) and 2-the dress is A-line, hemming it won''t make it any less poofy so make sure that you''re fine with how much or little the dress will puff out.
