That is the problem, also detailed photos are needed as well as ASET to judge a fancy shape which BN also don''t provide.Date: 9/29/2009 7:06:56 PM

I the price is a bit high. Based on a cursory search of some inventories I found the following stones around 1.55 ct and G/SI
$8,204 1.53 ct ''Good Cut'' BN - http://www.bluenile.com/princess-cut-diamond-1-carat-good-cut-g-color-si1-clarity_LD01533770
$9.523 1.55 ct ''Signature Ideal Cut'' BN - http://www.bluenile.com/princess-cut-diamond-1-carat-signature-ideal-cut-g-color-si1-clarity_LD01530175
$10,997 1.54 ct ''Signature Ideal Cut'' BN - http://www.bluenile.com/princess-cut-diamond-1-carat-signature-ideal-cut-g-color-si1-clarity_LD01530175
Of course since BN doesn''t provide an ASET image it''s hard to judge how good the cut is on these stones. Below are some from GOG and WF
$11,815 1.51 F/VS2 ''GOG Signature Princess Cut'' GOG - http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4999/
$10,721 1.57 G/VS1 WF - http://www.whiteflash.com/princess/Princess-cut-diamond-1755192.htm

I am looking at diamonds currently to propose to my girlfriend and was shown a 1.55 carat princess cut diamond. It was a G color and S1 clarity with a small imperfection that can't be seen by the naked eye. The asking price was 11K. Does that price sound reasonable?
