The stones will be all MRB's, sides will be an accent look.

Please help me choose your favourite and the reasons why.

I'm going back and forth between a halo and a 3 stone. :cool2:

Not totally sold on a halo.

You might want to post pictures of the ones you're talking aout.

For MRB stones,
I’d choose WF butterflies over CVB Maria. Both of these are gorgeous designs.
Don’t know if WF sets outside stones - if that’s a hurdle.

Throwing custom /halo out there as a request to opinion on, with out more specific info is too difficult. IMO.

Thank you. The centre stone is 10.8 mm on a ring size of 4.5. Not even sure if I have enough space to even do the three stone, hence the option of a halo.

All in White Metal

Cathedral halo

Maybe there should be a 4th choice for the poll

I have similar to the butterflies from Stuller and I love it.

I'm in the process of doing a three stone with a 10.35mm center. I posted just this morning that this will only work because I'm doing it in a size 7. I specifically said, oddly enough, that this wouldn't work on a size 4 finger! My sides are almost 6.7mm each, but perhaps you're considering smaller sides? Either way, on a size 4.5 finger, a 10.8mm stone is massive. I think both a halo and a 3 stone setting would look overpowering. But of the two, I'd go halo; you just don't have the real estate to go three stone - unless your sides are tiny, in which case - why bother, y'know? And keep in mind - this opinion is coming from a three stone addict.

I agree that you simply dont have the finger "space" for a 3 stone given how large the center stone is.

Wait - you’re three-stoning Beloved? (Runs to look at thread).

Thank you for your feedback @mrs-b . I know that every one of your beautiful settings have been thoroughly thought out, with a painstakingly level of attention to detail and quality. :appl:

Maybe I could ask @allycat0303 to weigh in on her latest thoughts on whether her Leon halo is too much for daily wear?

Here's a 3-stone I had with a 7.8mm center, 4.3mm sides, on a size 4.25 ring. Hope it helps with visualizing what a 3-stone on you might look like.

Thank you for the picture @AnastasiaBeaverhausen. The ring is glorious and the stone proportions are perfection!

The jeweller seems to think I have enough room on 6mm side-stones. Now I'm not so sure.

6mm side stones???? Not a chance. If your center is 10mm, then adding 6 on each side would make it 22mm total, which is enormous.

I mean, I'm sure technically it could be done. But I'd imagine the stones will have to sit pretty high and/or wrap around the finger quite a bit. :confused2:

Thank you. As I can't change the post, I am now adding a cathedral halo as an option.

Oooo can't wait to see any more inspo pics you may have. And it might be a good idea to start a new thread if you're thinking of focusing on halos for now?

Can’t wait to see your new 3 stone. Will be divine as is every piece you orchestrate.

I made a mistake on my ring size. It’s a 5.

Thanks, @ruffrock. :)) I'll look forward to seeing where you land with this - I'm sure it will be beautiful and all three styles / vendors you've chosen should, I think, be able to address your needs. Good luck!
