Help with three-stone project

I am a long time lurker and would like your opinion on a three-stone ring. I’ve read most of the threads on three-stone and made up my mind that I want to change my current setting into a three-stone. My e-ring is posted in the e-ring thread and I don’t have a better photo of my ring. It is 2.7ct F/VVS on a halo setting and I am suffering from shrinkage. I don’t want to get a bigger stone bec I am still in love with this stone and also tired of the halo setting.

My question, what is the biggest size side stone that would look good. I am thinking of either pear or trillion. I would like it to look like this. Would a 1ct each be sufficient?

Another decision, Leon Mege or Mark Morell? I know I can’t go wrong with anyone of them and it will be difficult to make a decision who to choose from.

I can''t really add much except this: the LM ring you posted has a cushiony, square shaped center, which I think is well complimented by trillions.

I''m not sure they would look as well-paired with a round, so I''d lean toward pears in your case.
