I have been researching round diamonds in a solitaire setting for like 6 months now. I asked my GF's best friend to take her to a jewelry store and see what she likes. There were 4 ring she liked, all of which were a "square" diamond in halo setting. Obviously I want to get a ring that she likes, not that I like. I feel completely lost. My budget is about $1200. Here is a setting I found. Can I get recommendations for a good cushion cut diamond?
