Help with Pricing on Enagement Ring!

I know it is really hard to tell without seeing it, but I am trying to ensure I am going to pay a fair price for an engagement ring.

I'm looking at a three stone setting with a 2.70 ct emerald cut center stone. It's GIA certified, an H color (but does not have any yellow hues) and a VS2 clarity (without any major inclusions or spots visible with a jewel’s eye). It has .5 ct emerald cut stones on each side of similar clarity and color. Total weight is roughly 3.70cts. The setting is platinum.

Any ideas on a range for a fair price both wholesale and retail? Any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi OP, there's really not enough info. on the diamond cut quality with your description, as this can drastically change the price from $10k to over $30k. Also, the heft and detail of the setting can impact the cost/value as Platinum is so costly. Can you provide more info on vendor or pictures? How does it look to you? Remember, show room lighting can make anything look fantastic, hence maul jewelry stores thrive.

ETA I wouldn't take a chance if the price seems too good, better to get help here with quality stones.
