Hello everyone!

I am new to the message boards and have learned so much from you already!

Had a couple of questions and wanted some feedback on the three sapphires I am considering for an engagement ring. Two are from The Natural Sapphire Company and one is from Gemfix

Radiant http://www.thenaturalsapphirecompan...54683-radiant-pink-sapphire-p2910/#AssetData6

Cushion http://www.thenaturalsapphirecompan...apphires/p-55020-cushion-pink-sapphire-p2922/
If you look at the GIA report on this stone, you can see a line of extinction. I was sent a video and you can see it in the video as well. Do you think it’s too large/is this a bad thing?

Looking forward to hearing any thoughts you have on these gemstones! :)

The Gemfix stone is certainly better cut than both the NSC stones. The Gemfix stone and the radiant NSC stone both look more saturated than the cushion NSC stone, which looks to me like it would be fairly grey.

Andrew of Gemfix is an excellent facetor and the stone is cut much better than the other 2.

NSC radiant
There is some purple in it and it looks to be decently cut. There could be a very small window but this looks to be the most saturated sapphire out of all 3 stones.

NSC cushion
The colour is extremely light and you may need to squint in order to see the colour under stronger lighting. Cut is so-so and the bowtie looks obvious because the pink is so light.

GemFix cushion
Cut looks nice but I cannot tell whether there is colour zoning or if that is an effect of the photography. As usual, I caution just about everyone that GF's photography is usually a bit better than the stone in hand.

Thank you all for your feedback! This is SUPER helpful! :)
