Help with ovals - with videos!

Hi everyone,

Would you mind letting me know which ovals in these videos you like best, and why? I think I know which way I'm leaning, but I'd love to hear your unbiased opinions!

The 1.7 G would be my choice. Less of a bow-tie and it
has a little more pleasing shape to me. The ends
are a little more filled in. The 1.50 is less rounded on the
ends. I definitly like the 1.7 better.

What does gog say?

GOG recommended the 1.5 based on its performance, but I also prefer the shape of the 1.7. Do you think it would be crazy to go with the 1.7?

I don't really know what to tell you. I am more inclined to go with the GOG recommendation. But I prefer the 1.7 from the video due to less bowtie.

But I find bowties crippling.

Agree with this. I can see that the 1.5 ct sparkles more but I can't handle bowties so based on that, for me, I'd take the 1.7 ct.

Is the performance that much better that it's worth going for the 1.5? I did not see a significant difference on the videos. I
would ask GOG how much better did the 1.5 perform over the 1.7. Maybe try to get them to quantify it.

with the 1.5 being 100...what does the 1.7 score? a 95? an 80?

Bravo! I'm glad that it is right up there. The nicer bow-tie and the shape make up for the 1.5 in performance.
