Help with lab-grown diamond tennis bracelet (please!)

Just this morning, I decided to go forward with my first tennis bracelet. It's a ridiculous time to buy since we are moving from Florida ot New Hampshire tomorrow - sort of a long time coming impulse purchase if that makes sense. But my other half approved it so now I'm overwhelmed! I have been looking at IDJ, James Allen, Ouros, and New World Diamond. The prices are all very good (to me) and bracelets seem comparable in color, clarity, and carat weight (except with Ouros, it's hard to say because you select the length of the bracelet so the tcw isn't standard). Since we are leaving in the morning on an RV trek, I might not be able to do this after today because I can't buy things like on based on pics via my phone screen and I need a lot of details.

Sorry for all the rambling. Questions:
Anyone know who has the better/best cut?
I think these are all reputable sellers from what I've read on PS, just wanting to confirm.
Some of the vendors post a lot of shots and angles, while others just one, do side views matter or are they all pretty standard?
Anyone know the difference between "Trendy" bracelet from NWD and "Classic", is it just less gold/smaller settings?
Is shortening the length something that can be done before shipping? If so, how much bigger should a bracelet be than an actual wrist measurement?

I don't know what carat weight I want yet, but I picked 3 tcw when available for comparison. Sorry if these don't work as hyperlinks, I am not sure I am doing it correctly!

Ouros 2.7mm:

IDJ 3ctw:

NWD 3ctw:

JA 3ctw:

I am also interested in any experience, pictures, suggestions, etc from anyone who would like to help me make this decision!

Thank you so much :)

I would NOT buy the NWD one - they are using I/J colored melee stones, whereas the other three are D-G and SI+ stones for the same price.

Side views, etc. don't mean that much to me, as the back of a tennis bracelet is all fairly standard - open baskets with links between them.

IDJ has my vote for this - they are using the highest quality (D-F and VS-VVS) stones, and have an excellent reputation for good quality all around, and will definitely be able to ship you the bracelet in whatever length you need.

How long should that length be? .... that is so personal! I despise having bracelets that go half way down my arm when I move, so I like mine pretty tight. I say measure the circumference of the spot on the arm that is the furthest down you'd want the bracelet to go when you raise your arm up and order that length. =)

I hadn't noticed the color/clarity of the NWD stones when I was looking at everything, that's definitely a big difference. I have an eternity by IDJ that I purchased from a PSer and I love it.

Length-wise, I can't stand moving bracelets either and I have a small wrist so it's something I do not want to contend with anymore! I'll put a bracelet on today and hook it to a link instead of the clasp piece to find that sweet spot on me.

Thank you so much!

@Clunkygirl , you are so welcome! I'm sorry to say I couldn't answer more of your questions, but am glad what I had to offer helps. =)

Congratulations on such an exciting time - moving and pulling the trigger on a long desired piece of bling. It can be so easily overwhelming, but thrilling at the same time.

I would also look at the carat weight per stone. IDJ's 3ctw has 72 stones, while James Allen's 3ctw only has 57, so JA's stones will be bigger.

Great point, thanks!

One of our very own PSer’s is selling her ideal cut lab tennis bracelet from IDJ! It’s a great price, and it’s ideal cut stones :) @winnietucker

I bought a JA 4ctw lab tennis bracelet and love it. Sorry I don’t have info on the other brands. I waited until they were having one of their sales. F5D7AB42-F0FB-42F2-9C28-1D35589C1AEB.jpeg

Gorgeous! They are having a sale right now, ends tomorrow.

I saw that, it was my inspiration to revisit my bracelet need in fact. I'm just in the market for something smaller (I'll probably regret that later :) Thank you, though!

Have you contacted Alex Park on Instagram (parksfinegroup2 I think)? He had some incredible deals on lab tennis bracelets a while back.

No, idk why I hadn’t thought of checking w him - ty! I ended up w a pair of earrings due to the JA sale but am still on the fence about the bracelet so I’ll check.

No help with the bracelet other than lucky you ! I was gonna say well wishes on your move. My husband and I moved from TX to southern NH a few years ago and we love it! Where about are you moving in NH?

Hi and thank you! We are in Rochester and, while I've been primarily in the house cleaning and putting away the first installment of stuff I just love it! My only complaint is the Florida heat followed us but our new home does not have AC :shock:Moving to New England was a dream we have been working toward over the last several years so it's very exciting!

@Clunkygirl We live in Portsmouth which is not too far away! We fell in love with the area after having vacationed here for only a week. There’s no place like it! So happy for you that you guys were able to follow your dream.

The heat has been atrocious the past few days, but I assure you it’s majorly great weather here most of the time. Our house didn’t have AC either but we had it installed just this year and it was so worth the money! Get window units ASAP, even though hopefully we won’t be needing them soon.

Well that was weird! I wrote a post and only the attachments are there so here I go again:

Thank you so much for helping me with my very first tennis bracelet and lab diamond purchase. I received this on Friday afternoon while I was in the middle of lining shelves in the new house (in the sweltering heat). I love every little thing about it and feel confident that I made a good decision thanks to PSers. The pictures aren't the greatest, but I just couldn't wait! Of course, as with all diamonds, it's hard to do them any justice with a quick photo, but here are multiple attempts. My bracelet is shown with my IDJ eternity I purchased from @divya last year.

I also wanted to add that working with Yekutiel was wonderful. I was having some trouble ordering on Wednesday night through the website, it turns out it was going through an update. I contacted IDJ to ask about shortening the bracelet which Yekutiel said would not be a problem but could take up to 2 days. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived without delay on Friday afternoon.

With regard to the bracelet length, I would advise using a piece of string to help determining how tight or loose you would like to wear a bracelet based on your personal preference.

DK :))

We bought a portable AC last night - what a great purchase!!!
The market is crazy, it took 5 or 6 houses to get the right one. I love the Portsmouth/Kittery area. It's nice to have a PSer so close!

Thanks DK. I did something like that by using another bracelet attached at a shorter link I only had my bracelet on for a couple of hours yesterday, but was so glad I went shorter because it didn't constantly slide or roll down my wrist which, for me, is irritating.

Hope you’re more comfortable now! Coming from TX it was a change not to have central air as a standard.

Maybe one time we can get together and go look at jewelry downtown. Market square jewelers is awesome!

That sounds like a fun idea! I am on LT under the same name.
